Ticket Change and Cancellation Policy
Thailand Railways allows changes or cancellations for most tickets with conditions based on train type and time before departure. Below is a general guide:

Luggage Policy
Hand Luggage: Passengers may carry baggage free of charge under the following conditions:
- First Class: up to 60 kg
- Second Class: up to 40 kg
- Third Class: up to 30 kg
- Must not obstruct walkways or occupy extra seats
Oversized or Heavy Items: For items exceeding personal allowance or bulky objects like bicycles or motorcycles:
- Must be sent via freight (cargo) service
- Advance registration at least 2–3 hours before departure
- Fees depend on item type, weight, and distance
Prohibited Items: Passengers are not allowed to bring:
- Explosives or flammable substances
- Weapons or sharp objects
- Strong-smelling items or uncovered food
Important Notes
- Refunds and changes must be processed through the original point of sale
- Passengers must carry a printed or digital ticket and an ID
- Always arrive at the station at least 30–60 minutes before departure
